Water
Water your heartleaf philodendron once the topsoil is mostly dry, and adjust frequency if light exposure changes. Decrease frequency in the winter time when your plant will be dormant.
Climate
Humidity will help your philodendron grow and produce larger leaves, and there are plenty of ways to increase it! They like temperatures above 60°F, preferably in between 65°-75°F.
